Do you have some good weight loss tips?

I am looking for good weight loss tips – healthy ways to continue to lose weight, not fad diets, pills, etc. I have currently lost almost three pants sizes, and have (fingers crossed,) lost a lot of weight in the past three years or so…primarily in the past few months.

If you lost weight, what did you do to successfully lose the weight?

It can be easy if you put your mind to it. Start getting rid of those fattening fast foods like McDonalds, Wendys, Burgerking, etc. Don’t eat things with too much fat including sweets like donuts or cookies. Eat things with protein. Eat salads, fruits, veggies, and most importantly drink LOTS AND LOTS of water. If you are still hungry after you ate something, chew gum to help you ignore it. Hope this helps 🙂

I think a vast number of persons hate the image they see of themselves in the mirror commonly because of excess weight. If you have that extra fat around your stomach and/or obese, I’m here to tell that it’s not impossible. Losing weight is a very simple thing, but the difficult part is what most people lack and that’s motivation and determination.
It’s easy to get up at some point and just start working. However, here is the part that makes us stop – as soon as we are done working out we look in the mirror and expect to see actual results. Well folks that’s IMPOSSIBLE! Changing our body takes time like everything else that’s worth it. If we all could wake up with a 6 pack tomorrow then I don’t believe reading this right now would make any sense.
Here’s how it works, if you want to lose weight:
· Stop making up lame excuses and start working out. Too many times I’ve seen persons delay their work out program and continue eating crap because they have convince themselves that it’s okay to eat crap for they are determine that they will work out tomorrow. Funny thing though is that tomorrow never comes.

· Learn your body type and plan a workout and diet program base on you. The thing that most people don’t realize is that a weight loss strategy used by one person may not necessarily work with someone else. For e.g. The weight loss diet of a 6 feet tall man will NEVER help a 5 feet 2 inches man lose weight. Learn what works for you by reading and don’t be convince by fab diets.

How lose weight fast before the summer season starts?

So as you all know, it’s almost summer !! As of right now, I’m 5’5 and 145 pounds. I know I know I’m overweight haha so I obviously need to lose some stomach and thigh fat before the middle of June. I’m a competitive swimmer, so I excersice at least an hour and a half every day. However, practice ends in two weeks, so I won’t be getting to burn those extra calories anymore. What kind of excersises do I need to do to make my stomach and thighs slimmer? How many calories do I need to consume each day? Is 20 pounds a realistic goal for the middle of June? Weight loss tips? 2. Eat 4-7 meals a day. Believe it or not by eating more frequently, you actually increases your metabolism which helps you to lose weight faster.

3. Eat more fiber. Next time you go shopping pay attention to the food label and buy products with higher fiber content.

4. Drink a glass of water before you eat. Filling up your stomach with water will help suppress your appetite. *** Drink a minimum of 8 glasses (8 ounces)of water each day.

5. Lose the scale and start measuring.

6. Exercise at least 30-60 minutes for daily!

What are the best machines to use at the gym for trying to lose weight?

Alright, I’m 5’6 and 190 lbs I want to start going to the gym. I’ve already lost 7lbs in the past 2 weeks by just doing my own thing, but I figure going to gym on a consistent basis will be better and will help me lose weight quicker… So are there any specific machines that I should use? I don’t want to try and gain muscle because that would be stupid. I just want to lose weight.

im 22 and weigh over 15stone im 5ft 5 and im a size 20. This is the fattest i have ever been and i feel so ugly and disgusting, i found a photo from when i was 19 and i looked so pretty on it i feel like im not that person anymore and feel like that its so unattainable to ever be that person again, ive always struggled with my weight but ive never been this fat. Im 23 in May and desperatley need to lose weight before this, although im not stupid and i know im not going to lose that much in that short a space of time. Ive been to all the slimming clubs and even the doctors but its not working, i used to make myself sick and really feel like im gonna do it again because i just dont lose weight quick enough on them, i cant afford to go to the gym and feel like people are laughing at the fat cow trying to lose weight if i go running then get puffed out after such a short space, i dont want to hear about crash diets are bad, i want to hear about crash diets that will give results.

Yeah you will loose weight on a crash diet but as soon as you come off it you will put all the weight back on.

If you want to do it the sensible way(the only way that will work and be permenant) . You need to eat healthy food like fresh fruit and veg, carbs and protein. Don’t skip meals because it will only make you hungry and binge on bad foods. Eat one main meal of breakfast, lunch and dinner and if you feel hungry between those times snack of healthy snacks like fruit.

Never miss breakfast as it is the most important meal of the day and really sets you up for the day ahead. If you miss breakfast your body goes into starvation mode and hangs onto the fat and it will also make you binge later on.

Drinking lots of water helps keeps your energy levels up, makes your skin nice and clear, takes away bad mood swings, improves concentration and helps you loose weight.

Exercise is really important as it helps you burn calories. You sound unfit so if you start running you will get puffed out in a short pace of time.You need to get fit to be able to run. Start walking in the park for an hour and once you feel fitter start power walking( a form of fast walking) and gradually build up your fitness. Include walking into your daily life. Walk everywhere. Walk up the stairs to your flat instead of the lift, up the stairs at work/college/university, get off earlier on the bus etc.

You’re 23, you should be out enjoying yourself and feeling good about yourself. Its such a shame not to do anything about your weight if its making you so unhappy.

I know you said you went to the doctor about your weight, but how about going to the doctor and tell him/her that you have made yourself sick in the past and sometimes feel like doing it, maybe they can recommend you to a specialist.

Lots of people have been your weight and managed to loose weight, so it’s possible for you to do it to. Don’t give up whatever you do and if you end up binging on some bad food don’t beat yourself up about it, everyone has bad days.

What is the fastest, most unhealthy way to lose weight?

Maybe not unhealthiest but quickest way, besides dieting and exercising which I already do. I know the risk I just need to know ways you or people you know lost weight quick in 3 or 4 mos. The most you’ve lost in a month or all together…again I do exercise daily and watch what I eat I’m just in major help to lose it quick quick.

Anyone know of an effective weight loss workout routine that I could follow on the treadmill?

Perhaps, for example, a day by day plan of what to do on the treadmill, what settings, how long for, etc. Just a regime that worked for you, or someone you know? Whatever really.

I literally want someone to just tell me what to do, so I can commit to the routine and lose weight.

It’s one day of laying in bed and eating.
I’m trying to limit though.
Hopefully I’ll be better by tomorrow.
