Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

George asks…

What is the most effective workout for weight loss especially for obese people?

What is the most effective workout for weight loss especially for obese people?
I am not asking for obvious answers such as they have to eat less or eat healthier.
I would like to know your opinion on the workout part, what and how obese people should work out.

Thanks

weight loss cardiff answers:

Anything that gets the person up and moving is helpful. It doesn’t have to be strenuous; studies have shown that even mild exercise (like walking) for as little as 15 minutes every other day has a measurable health benefit. Not as much of a benefit as more exercise would bring, of course, but we all have to start somewhere. 🙂 Obese people may have trouble with their legs and feet that makes walking difficult. If this is the case, consider swimming, or an exercise bike with a comfy padded seat. Then, as the person gains endurance and exercise becomes easier, they can step up the duration, frequency, or intensity and see the benefits come even faster. Good luck!

Joseph asks…

What do you think about weight loss dining?

If you saw a restaurant in your area that offers weight loss food. For example Turkey salad burger, instead of chicken burger. Would you like that better than your local fine dining or easy take away?
How much would you pay for something like that compare to the normal price. Would you be willing to pay more that a regular calorific burger? If yes, how much more or if not, how much less than the normal?

Cheers. Your answers will help me more than you know it!
🙂

weight loss cardiff answers:

I would not be interested in a place like that. Think about this – when do you EVER voluntarily choose to pay MORE to get LESS of the same thing?

Sounds like a business plan for failure.

I don’t go out to eat in order to eat less, I go out to eat to have something that is too complex or troublesome to prepare at home. I go out to eat to try new tastes, new flavors. And I go out to eat sometimes to save time.

If you are dieting and have to go to a restaurant for some reason, there is always something to order if you are dieting – without having to go to an overpriced “weight loss” diner.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Joseph asks…

How can I lose weight fast without running?

I’m 17, 6’0, 245lbs. I want to how I can lose weight fast without running. I already do a Brazilian Martial Art called Capoeira, so I don’t want to run. I want to lose 20lbs by late Sept if possible. Please I need some suggestions.
I forgot to add one more thing:
How should I schedule my meals and what should I eat?
Does anyone think it’s possible to lose 20lbs. by late September?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Try and stick to a clean diet. Lean protein, complex carbs, lower sugar intake, lots of fruits and vegetables and so forth.

Capoeira is pretty intense so if you are doing it a few times a week or more for an hour at a time or so you should start seeing results. Practice Capoeira even if you don’t have a class that night. Twenty pounds by late September is possible. Good luck!

To expand on the 20 pounds, ideally you want to lose 2 pounds or so a week since this is healthy amount and you are more likely to keep it off. There are still 8 weeks until late September so that’s 16 pounds there. You can also take into account that you are fairly heavy already so you should see faster results in the first couple weeks which can easily account for the additional 4 pounds. So if you stick to it and keep motivated you can lose the 20 pounds.

As for the scheduling meals some people swear by the 6 small meals a day. It’s a good idea since it will always keep your metabolism up but often times it isn’t practical. Especially if you have to go to work. Above all make sure you eat a good sized breakfast as it will start your metabolism for the day and make you less hungry later in evening.

How to Lose Fat Without Cardio using Metabolic Finishers

Non conventional cardio from metabolic finishers and morning fasted walking.

A metabolic finisher is a 5-10 minute fast paced circuit completed at the end of a weight training session which acts as ‘cardio’ and is designed to really skyrocket the heart rate and send your metabolism into over drive.

The finishers were pretty basic such as medicine ball slams, star jumps or battling ropes.

Off day training, was walking on an empty stomach before breakfast for 30 minutes. Some fitness professionals are against it. I’m for it simply because it works.

If for whatever reason you can not do it in the morning I would say to do it later on in the day because it’s better than nothing.

Mandy asks…

How can you lose weight without getting a muscle-y look?

I am 16 and am just starting to work out to lose weight. I run and play tennis–which I just started playing and therefore dont get an actual workout out of! Can you guys tell me what kind of excercises you need to do, what kind of food you need to eat, etc to lose weight but not build up a lot of muscle? Any tips will be welcome!!

weight loss cardiff answers:

It is very hard to gain muscle! By eating sensibly and training you will not suddenly get muscly – you have to have a specific training programme and diet in order to gain muscle and to look muscly – so do not worry!!!

Cardio activities like running, tennis, swimming, brisk walking, cycling etc will help you to lose body fat and therefore lose weight.

Diet – try to cut down on carbs, increase protein intake, eat plenty of fresh fruit and veg, Replace processed food with fresh food and avoid white breads/pasta’s etc

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Thomas asks…

how can i purchase or get my hands on prescription weight loss supplements? like the same kind the models get?

i want t purchase those prescription weight loss pills with the rx labels and everything. how do i get my hands on the ones that the models, actors and actresses, and rock stars get all the time, but they do not qualify for a legitimate prescription from a doctor. i’m willing to pay a decent amount for them.

weight loss cardiff answers:

The drugs don’t work and they are harmful.
The models use a combination of heroin and starvation.
(I know I am a doctor, and I constantly struggle to keep my weight “ideal” so if there was an easy way, I would do it!)
Try oolong tea. Purchase a water boiling hot pot at the asian store that will keep nice hot water on hand all day. Then, sip the oolong tea when you are hungry. Take a vitamin daily.
Other than that, it is the usual, eat breakfast, avoid simple carbs, lots of fruit and veg…..blah blah blah, I know, easier said than done, LOL

Mary asks…

Are there any weight loss supplements out there that won’t affect some who had a kidney transplant?

I had a kidney transplant six years ago. I’ve been trying to lose weight that I gained from peritoneal dialysis, but my energy level is not what it used to be. I’ve recently been diagnosed with sleep apnea also. I got sick when I was 21 and I will be 35 next month. I need to do something or it will all be down hill from here. I need something that will give me an energy boost and help me burn calories without damaging my transplanted kidney.

weight loss cardiff answers:

I am a kidney/pancreas recipient, and am very protective of my organs. I don’t take supplements in general, and if I did, I would check w/ the transplant team or nephrologist first. There’s just nothing worth losing these organs over, or taking something that interferes w/ the immunosuppressants.

Re the lack of energy – are your hemoglobin levels normal?

I just rejoined Weight Watchers, which has worked for me in the past. I’d recommend that over a supplement.

Chris asks…

What are some weight loss supplements that actually work?

I want to lose like 10 pounds. What’s the cheapest, best, and fastest supplement that will allow me to do that? Links would be helpful.

weight loss cardiff answers:

I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…

This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.

However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn’t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It’s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace. Com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it’s the best pill I’ve tried and I’ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn’t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I’ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.

Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Susan asks…

Help me come up with a weight-loss plan for working out please? (10 points to Best Answer)?

Hey:

Okay, so I’m 14 and my sister is 12 and we both want to start working out; not just for weight loss, because honestly we’re pretty thin as we are and she’s even more slim than me. But either way, we wanna do it for the lungs and the heart; not to mention how powerful you feel post-working out. I wanna be in my mid 40’s and look back on this and look as if I’m in my early 30’s like Jennifer Aniston.
Anyway, we’re starting to do Pilates 2 times a week and the other 3 weekdays, we’re gonna work out at the gym for 45 minutes and then jog for another 45 minutes and then bike for another half hour. I want to work out 6 days a week, 2 hours a day.

Then, on Saturday, I might take up some yoga occasionally and I’m going to take a dancing class or just swim or do something to stay active. I’m thinking about either taking Sunday off or making it optional rather than mandatory. I want to be strict with my food, too; I want to eat 5 small meals a day and lots of veggies, fruits and drink tons of water. First, I guess I’m gonna start off as a thing that I feel I must do but I hoping the purpose of it will change through time and eventually, I will gradually feel it’s more of a habit and take it seriously and as importantly as brushing your teeth or heck even taking a shower! Bottom line, I wanna cut down carbs, not exceed my strict-policy, no-exception limit to 1,200 calories a day (if possible, less) and I’m gonna do lots of cardio, aerobics and weights.

Easy things like excluding some whip cream on my coffee, not adding a topping to my ice cream, eating protein without rice, and other things like that.

XOXO,
Thanks in advance. (:
PLEASE HELP ME COME UP WITH A PLAN URGENTLY AY-SAP!
And please don’t say I’m too young or any of that; I’ve heard it all before. If I wanted to hear that, I’d post this differently. Let me rephrase that: Just help me out, eh? With things that I consider helpful…not what you THINK will.

Thank you guys, I appreciate it…
I think the process is worth it and overall, I appreciate everyone’s concern and stuff…thanks for those of you who cared enough to answer =]

weight loss cardiff answers:

First of all, DON’T GIVE UP CARBS…you’ree too young b/c you’re still developing and carbs help your body do just that. Instead replace bad carbs(most white products like white bread and rice and pasta) and replace it with whole grains and whole wheat. Those are good carbs that help your body function; the white carbs tend to be stored as fat. Also drink 2% or skim milk and dairy products. If you can find a food chart online, follow it b/c if you don’t need to lose weight then you really should be eating at least 1800 calories…technically 2000 but not everyone can stomach that much. A food pyrmid will make sure you’re eating the right amount of foods so that you can have the best potiental for development(in all areas; brain, eyes, teeth, even reproductively…the amount you eat deals with all of that).
You have a really good workout routine already. Like you seem to have everything already planned out perfectly so I don’t exactly understand what you need help on but I only suggest that you do take a day off b/c as you workout you”re putting your body under a lot of stress and you need at least a day for it to heal. When at the gym, the ellipitical is great and so is the bike and steps. Try a few things out and see what you like the most(You can probably also get someone to help you out a little with exactly a plan) Remember to stretch before and after all your workouts!

what should be the dieting plan for the weight loss?

i m 25 year old.and i want my weight loss with any hard dieting plan like left the dinner and lunch. can have any easy diet plan for the weight loss ……..

weight loss cardiff answers:

Go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don’t eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey
