Your Question About Easy Weight Loss

Chris asks…

Atheists: Do you think there is a way to find physical data supporting the existence of a deity?

If so, what exactly would that be? How would it support the existence of a deity?

I’ve been trying to figure this out.

weight loss cardiff answers:

If the world started acting in ways that run against the currently known laws of nature, if prayers were answered at a rate that is significantly above the statistical probabilities, of devout people would regularly win the lottery, never get cancer, and so on, then we could have something to base a claim on.

Of course, if the deity is supposed to NOT grant desires, to not intervene in any way, to not allow his all-mightyness to manifest itself, then there would be nothing at all, and a non-active deity is just the same as no deity at all, as far as we can call it.

Joseph asks…

What is the best way to choose a deity? (please no hating on deities, this is only for those who believe, thx)?

There are many deities in the world. How should one choose a deity? Is it better to worship many deities or only one?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Read up on various deities and also visit stores and see which statues appeal to you. The Buddhist deities are the most powerful which is why Japan is the world’s most industrialized country and why Bhutan the world’s happiest. Also, China owns most o America and it is also mostly Buddhist. There are some powerful Hindu deities as well. Once you open your mind to them, the right deity will have a way of finding you. Someone may give you a ity or you may find one that is unique that you buy for your own shrine.

Also, I am sorry you received such awful answers from Irksome on down. They give atheists a bad name as a bunch of empty cynics. Good Luck in your search.

Nancy asks…

Can anyone answer with a logical argument in favor of belief in deity?

I’ve never heard a logical, reasonable argument FOR belief in a deity (except maybe a lack of Ice Giants) but I’m curious why believers believe. Please tell me logically why you believe.

weight loss cardiff answers:

It can make you feel better about some things.
You asked for a logical argument in favor of BELIEF, not in favor of PROOF.

>

(EDIT – I meant not in favor of a deity.)

Michael asks…

Can you start to lose weight the healthy way after starving yourself?

I lost weight starving myself but I now learned that that makes your body hold onto fat and lose muscle. If i started losing weight the healthy way, will I look like an average person at that weight, or flabbier from starving myself?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Reducing weight is not difficult, you will need one thing, personal control. It is very simple, everything you need to do is use more calories compared to what you really consume. That is all you need to do. Really ignore each one of these celebrity diets and great new methods, simply just go and do some exercise and enjoy a wholesome and balanced diet. Individuals believe that you should only to eat salad or fruit on a regular basis, that is certainly also crap. Healthy food can be very tasty, such as, fish! Make use of the grill as opposed to the frying pan, go for a walk rather than using the car! You needn’t visit the health and fitness center, you only need to change one or two habits and the bodyweight will go.

James asks…

How to lose weight when you have Polycystic Overies?

I have polycystic overies and am taking medication called metphormin. I have been told to stay on the GI diet. Do you have any tips in how to make myself feel full quickly and any other tips in trying to lose weight as I can’t seem to lose the weight as easily as a normal person who is overweight.

weight loss cardiff answers:

I have polycystic ovaries too and YES it is difficult to lose or at least maintain your desired weight. I tried to take some pills and even ventured with some ginseng and formulas from Japan and China but it didnt do that much. After that realization…I was left with no other choice but to regularly exercise so I wont gain weight.

I need 2 lose weight ASAP in order to get a job. I don’t want anyone discriminating against me for being overweight. I’m tired of being told that people have the right not to hire me for being fat. Also, I’m @ risk 4 many health problems.

What’s the fastest & safest way 4 me 2 lose weight harmlessly?

I became obese by taking anti-depressants that make me super hungry & sleepy, & by being stressed out & depressed.

weight loss cardiff answers:

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then you’re consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/library/weight/calsburned.htm

Get an online, desktop, or cell phone diet and fitness calculator. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.

Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
Adults: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm
Teens/Children: http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/exercise/weight/bmi.html

It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:

*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.

*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier.

Sandra asks…

How long does it typically take to lose 35 lbs, following a proper diet and exersise regiment?

I plan on losing weight. My goal is 35 lbs, to take me from 165lbs to 130lbs…I will be following a proper diet and exersise regiment…

I am just curious though as to how long I can expect this to take?

weight loss cardiff answers:

Firstly you can lose as much weight as you want in a short time period, however, you will gain it back. I am speaking from experience from someone who has been there done that with fad diets. There is the obvious liposuction, however, the recovery time is 3 – 6 months and it sounds as though that you’re in a rush to lose the weight for possibly an event with no downtime to spare. I am and have been on weight watchers for 2 years and lost 25 lbs. It was a slow and steady race, however, I haven’t gained the weight back ‘cause my diet has been stabilized and so was the weight loss from 0.5 – 1 lb/week.

Remember the weight gain didn’t happen overnight, it happened slowly over time, the same is with proper healthy weight loss, you can’t have/perform miracles over night.

These are some things that I do.

1.Drink lots of water as it kept me full longer.
2.Used an appetite suppressant like hoodie to make sure I don’t go over my daily calorie intake.
3.Did cardio and toning 3 – 4 times a week.
4.Made meal and recipe modifications as I cooked.
5.When I dined out, I made sure that I wasn’t shy about asking the kitchen to make modifications like dressing/sauce on the side, half portion ordered the kids meal etc.
6.Brushing teeth after every meal, the mint acts like an appetite suppressant and without the taste in your mouth, you can easily forget about the food.
7.Never drank diet cola, the aspartame actually made me crave food more for some reason.
8.At work I take a break before lunch and either take the stairs in the building or just general toning without weights. We have a gym at work so I do about 15 minutes of weights which not only gets my blood flowing but releases tension from a**hole customers.
9.Bought snacks in bulk (to save money) and properly measured what a cup or portion was and made individual baggies. There are some snacks on the market that are 100 calorie snacks, however, I find those to be too expensive than just buying in bulk and separating the portions yourself. Also by physically separating them yourself, you get an idea of what a portion is supposed to be and you learn to properly eye ball correct portions.

Chris asks…

How did you lose the weight after the kid?

I was 110 when I gave birth to my child and now I’m a chunky monkey, I’m not over weight but I’d love to lose the weight. I stay at this weight but I wanna be back to 110 or at least close. Any GOOD tips, besides diet and exercise. I do that but I can’t effin lose the weight! Well all would help!

weight loss cardiff answers:

Well, I nursed my babies. Nursing requires an additional 500 calories per day to pull off, so as long as you drink plenty of water, and just eat normally the weight usually comes off fairly quickly and easily. If you can’t nurse the baby, or chose not to- then it really is a matter of time, exercise and diet. It takes a few weeks for the body to shift back to the non-pregnant mode of things, so the weight usually is slow at first. After two months or so though it should be back to normal. Now one word of caution- if you had the baby normally you have had a hip spread that put about an inch on the measurement. That inch isn’t going to disappear, so even if you do lose the weight you may find your skinny bum jeans will not fit. And they won’t ever fit again, either. You also tend to lose a little when the baby gets old enough to start moving around, and you have to keep up with the little darling. Sorry, but there still isn’t any good way to magically take off the pounds.
